Measurement of Total Factor Productivity in Iranian Economic Sectors: Malmquist Index Analysis

Productivity has an important and effective role in the growth of production increasing competitiveness countries. In this study, using Malmquist productivity index, total trend factors three sectors Iranian economy (agriculture, industry services) during years 2012-2017 have been discussed. The results showed that study period changes all economic except industrial sector are due to technological changes, sector, both technical efficiency affected sector. Therefore, factor agricultural had a negative with decrease 1.5% services positive 7% 11.3%, respectively.
